Solvay Pharmaceuticals is an active supporter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Executive Summary Over ninety CCT software trainers and consultants orchestrated a successful, nation-wide sales force automation software training rollout to over twelve hundred Solvay sales professionals at six locations across the country. Following nearly six months of careful project planning and preparation, two CCT training teams of forty-five trainers toured the country delivering software systems and business process training to over twelve hundred professional sales representatives in six cities nationwide in just three weeks. CCT worked closely with Solvay to make sure that the curriculum and its implementation were well planned, targeted and designed to meet the critical business objectives served by their sales force automation software platform. In the highly competitive and regulated pharmaceuticals market, attention to detail is imperative and objectives must be met exactly as planned. The sales representatives who attended the training seminar greeted their new skills with enthusiasm and a willingness to participate that readily translated into a conducive learning environment. Coupled with sound curriculum design and project planning, Solvay Pharmaceuticals enjoyed the success they expected.

Executive Summary The Virtual Sales Call - a CCT training innovation first - was designed to build the computer skills of newly hired pharmaceutical sales representatives necessary for Solvay's success in their highly competitive, regulated environment. The simulation is a three hour event that follows a highly customized, formal software skills training curriculum that brings together product knowledge, company policy, selling techniques and software skills.
We create a virtual 'day in the life' for a field sales professional complete with calls on physicians, practice in remote connectivity, stops to a local cafe to quickly update notes and enter call information into their laptops - and even a quick chair massage at their 'local' day spa. And we created this realistic field sales environment all within the walls of Solvay's Training & Development department.
