Removing Mysterious 'Xerox' and 'Nwwia' Folders In WindowsXP Many people have inquired about two folders that appear in their list of directories - usually on the root of C - without explanation and without the ability to be deleted. While we cannot tell you anymore about what they are used for than you could determine yourself by Googling the folder names, we can tell you how to remove them. To date, no one has indicated any adverse impact from doing so. 1. Do a find on 'sfcfiles'. You need to do the advanced search option, and check 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files', and 'Search sub folders' 3. Restart your computer 4. You may now delete the folders named 'Nwwia', 'Xerox', etc.
